THE GREAT EXCHANGE

“To console those who mourn in Zion, To give them beauty for ashes, The oil of joy for mourning, The garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; That they may be called trees of righteousness, The planting of the LORD, that He may be glorified.”
Isaiah 61:3

Good Friday 2025
Dearly Beloved in Christ,
Greetings in Jesus’ mighty name. It gives me great joy to greet each one of you on this Good Friday. What a glorious day to reflect on the cross. This is the day in which the ‘Great Exchange’ took place. Our beloved Lord Jesus took our place on the cross and paid off all our penalties with His own flesh and blood.
The Great Exchange
The scripture says in Isaiah 61:3,
“To console those who mourn in Zion, To give them beauty for ashes, The oil of joy for mourning, The garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; That they may be called trees of righteousness, The planting of the LORD, that He may be glorified.”
Again the scripture says in 2 Corinthians 8:9,
“For ye know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that, though he was rich, yet for your sakes he became poor, that ye through his poverty might be rich.”
These scriptures and many more in the bible talk about the great exchange that happened in Good Friday. Jesus took our sorrows, griefs, pain and sufferings on Himself that we might receive His Righteous, Peace and Joy through His marvelous grace.
Jubilee
On this Good Friday morning, The Lord Jesus Christ invites us to participate in this great exchange. Let us list out all that which is missing and broken in our lives. It could be your health, relationship breakdown, financial mess or a moral setback. I encourage you to take it to the Cross and exchange it for divine health, fruitfulness, sufficiency and right standing with God through Christ Jesus our Lord. As you do that, a new song of praise will fill your hearts. His divine peace will flood your hearts.
I declare that all that was stolen from you shall be returned back to you in multiple measure (Isa 61:2). I declare the Jubilee restoration of the Lord in your lives. Let us as a family celebrate and rejoice over what we have received today!!
Peace be unto you all. Amen!!
